Went 10-5 in singles play, including a streak of four-straight wins from March 20 through April 6... Was Kansas' clutch performer, recording clinching singles wins in the Jayhawks' victories over Kansas State, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Nebraska... Went 6-4 in league matches... Played both No. 5 and No. 6 singles... Played No. 2 doubles with Kunigunda Dorn, posting an 8-8 record, including a team-best 6-5 conference mark... The duo defeated Baylor's 57th-ranked duo of Taylor Ormond and Jalena Stanivuk, 8-6, on April 5, marking Kansas' only win all season over a ranked doubles tandem... Named second-team Academic All-Big 12... Named KU's team MVP at awards banquet. Fall 2007 (Senior): Did not compete due to an arm injury. Spring 2007 (Junior): Slowed by nagging injuries en route to a 4-14 singles record... Played at No. 4 for KU in all but two matches... Won consecutive outings in KU's duals against Arkansas and BYU... Finished 1-9 in Big 12 singles play... Bounced around the doubles lineup, eventually competing in KU's final six contests with Kunigunda Dorn... The tandem won three straight matches to close the season, including a win over Texas A&M's 39th-ranked duo of Lubinsky and Mechem... Teamed with Dorn to notch a win in the first round of the Big 12 Championships over Oklahoma's Purice and Baxley... Also competed in doubles play with Stephanie Smith and Yuliana Svistun... Named second team Academic All-Big 12... Presented with KU's Hardest Worker Award at postseason banquet... Named to the Athletic Director's and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Fall 2006 (Junior): Played sparingly in singles play, going 0-3 at the Deacon Classic... Competed with Edina Horvath in doubles play at the Deacon Classic, going 2-1, and finished third in the Flight B bracket... Teamed with Kunigunda Dorn to finish 2-1 in doubles competition at the Kitty Harrison Invitational, playing in the Carolina draw. Spring 2006 (Sophomore): Occupied the No. 4 singles spot for the Jayhawks for the majority of the season, tallying an 11-14 record, including 4-7 in Big 12 play... Won four straight singles contests from March 19 to March 25... Stepped into the No. 3 spot in KU's matches with UMKC and Saint Louis, winning 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1... Went 9-15 in doubles play teamed with Edina Horvath in the No. 2 position... The duo notched an 8-7 win over Big 12 Champion Baylor's tandem of Covello and Milewski... Won three straight doubles contests in KU's tilts with UMKC, Saint Louis and Oklahoma... Presented with Hardest Worker Award at team's postseason banquet. Fall 2005 (Sophomore): Completed the season with a 6-5 singles mark...Her six victories were second most on the team...Placed seventh in the singles flight D bracket of the Hoosier Classic...Qualified for ITA Central Regional doubles play with Horvath, and notched a first-round victory...Tallied a 7-6 doubles record with Horvath...Their seven wins were the teams second-highest total. Spring 2005 (Freshman): Compiled a 5-16 in singles competition... Spent most of her time playing No. 4 singles... Finished 3-8 while teaming with Brown, and 4-10 with Skoda in doubles play... Earned a match-clinching, three-set victory over Oklahoma State's Jessica Collins, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Fall 2004 (Freshman): Notched a 3-6 fall record... Had the second-most wins behind Smith... Captured her first collegiate victory on Sept. 24 against Paty Manzur of SMS, 6-2, 6-1... Went undefeated at the Hurricane Invitational with a 3-0 record... Teamed with Skoda to earn a team-leading 4-5 record. High School: Played tennis all four years... Three-time all-county selection... Member of the Super SIx All-Region team. Personal: Pre-nursing major. |
