Windom Continues to Shine at Hawai'i Invitational

HONOLULU—Sophomore Dylan Windom tallied another singles victory Friday on Day Two of the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational in Honolulu. The Jayhawks played hosts Hawai’I in singles play and Washington State in doubles competition. Windom, a Tifton, Ga., native, notched a win over Hawai’i’s Barbara Pinterova when Pinterova was unable to complete the match (5-7, 4-0 ret.). Undefeated in singles competition at the invite so far, Windom took down Washington State’s Andjela Kankaras, 6-3, 6-4. The Jayhawks will be back on the courts Saturday for the third and final of the Spring Invitational. Singles matches are slated to begin at 1 p.m. central time.
