HONOLULU—Sophomore Dylan Windom finished the weekend undefeated in singles competition after winning again Saturday on the third and final day of the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational. The University of Kansas women's tennis team played Kentucky in singles play and hosts Hawai’i in doubles competition.

Windom, a Tifton, Ga., native, defeated UK’s Khristina Blajkevitch, 7-6 (2), 6-0. The sophomore went 3-0 in singles competition, taking down Hawai’i’s Barbara Pinterova (5-7, 4-0 ret.) and Washington State’s Andjela Kankaras  (6-3, 6-4) on the first two days of the tournament.

Despite Windom’s success in singles play, the Jayhawks could not match it in doubles, going 0-3 on the third day.

KU begins a five-match homestand Feb. 7 when the Jayhawks host UMKC at Jayhawk Tennis Center. The dual is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
