Sophomore Los Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team

IRVING, Texas—Sophomore Paulina Los was named to the 2012 Academic All-Big 12 Women’s Tennis First Team, the Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday. First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA.
This marks the native of Gdansk, Poland’s first time on the list. The business major finished the spring dual season 5-15 in No. 2 singles and 2-9 with partner Maria Belen Ludueña at No. 2 doubles.
Kansas has had at least one representative on the Academic All-Big 12 Team since the conference’s inception in 1997.
The Jayhawks (9-12 overall, 0-9 in the Big 12) will begin postseason play when they take on No. 7 seed Oklahoma (10-12 overall, 4-5 in league play) Thursday at the Big 12 Championship in College Station, Texas. The match is set to begin at 10 a.m.
