LAWRENCE, Kan. - Day one of the 2012 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Summer Circuit was a success at the Jayhawk Tennis Facility Friday.

Kansas junior-to-be Dylan Windom, seeded third in the tournament, received a bye in the round of 32 and took on Denise Chiao (NWSU) in the second round. Windom made quick work of her second-round opponent, winning in straight sets (6-0, 6-1). She will square off against Mackenna Maddox (BYU) Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

The updated draw sheets and results will be available at kuathletics.com Saturday evening.

Saturday's action kicks off with doubles at 8:00 a.m. CT and is free and open to the public.
