Kansas Women's Tennis Set To Open Fall Season Hosting KU Invitational

KU returns eight players from the 2011-12 team, including the doubles tandem of Dylan Windom and Monica Pezzotti who are ranked 25th in the Preseason ITA Doubles rankings. Kansas, with 10th-year head coach Amy Hall-Holt at the helm, is also adding a pair of freshmen in Maria Jose Cardona and Anastasija Trubicato the lineup for the 2012-13 season. LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas women's tennis will open the 2012 fall season this weekend when it hosts eight other teams for the KU Invitational at the Jayhawk Tennis Center. KU will take on Kansas State, Wichita State, UMKC, South Dakota, Arkansas State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Texas-Arlington and Abilene Christian beginning on Friday and concluding Sunday afternoon.
