2012: Junior Season Started one match at outside hitter for the Jayhawks, played in 11 overall... Posted a kill in the season opener at Northwestern State (8/24)... Landed her first-career service ace at Arkansas (8/25)... Earned the start and recorded a block versus Sam Houston State (8/31)... Chalked up a career-high four digs against Saint Louis (11/21).
2011: Sophomore Season Started once and appeared in seven matches as an outside hitter for the Jayhawks... Finished the season with three kills and four digs... Three of her four digs came when she started in the season opener against Florida A&M (8/26).
2010: Freshman Season Played outside hitter in eight matches for the Jayhawks... Collected first career kills versus UMKC on Aug. 31... Made just one attack error in 13 attempts on the season... Perfect in four service receptions... Blocked first career attack versus Arkansas Little Rock on Sept. 11.
High School Presented with the Evelyn Gates Award as a senior, which is given to the top female volleyball player in the Kansas City area... Ranked No. 91 nationally in the 2010 recruiting class by PrepVolleyball.com... Led Lee's Summit North High School to a district championship in 2009 to earn all-state first team accolades... Also named all-conference and all-district all four years with the Broncos... First Bronco to reach 1,000 career kills and holds LSN single-season kills record... Voted team offensive MVP all four seasons... An academic all-state honoree in 2007 and 2008.
Personal Daughter of Mike and Debra Beal... Has an older sister, Molly, and younger sister, Morgan... Father played football at Kansas while Molly played basketball at Florida State... Did not start playing volleyball until the eighth grade... Majoring in human biology.
