LAWRENCE, Kan. -

Looking to end a three-match skid, Kansas will take on Texas A&M Wednesday night in College Station.  Match time is slated for 6:30 p.m.

The Jayhawks (10-11, 3-8 Big 12) are just 1-4 on the road in conference play after dropping a 3-0 decision at top-ranked Nebraska last weekend. KU is ninth in the league rankings, three spots behind the Aggies (16-6, 5-6 Big 12).

Texas A&M has been riding the other side of the wave and is currently on a three-match winning streak. The Aggies are coming off a 3-0 sweep of Texas Tech on the Red Raiders' home court.

The Series

The Aggies lead the all-time series against Kansas 20-4 and have won the last two meetings including a 3-0 sweep of the Jayhawks in Lawrence on Oct. 6. 

Kansas has tallied its only four wins versus the Aggies in the last four years.  Up until this season, the schools have split 1-1 each season with each team notching a win on its home court.

Last Meeting With the Aggies

Texas A&M visited the Horejsi Family Athletics Center on Oct. 6 earlier this season and completed a 3-0 sweep of the Jayhawks by scores of 30-26, 30-25 and 30-19.

Senior Emily Brown tallied a double-double in the match with 20 assists and 11 digs,  and was just shy of a triple-double pitching in nine kills.  Sophomore Katie Martincich ended the night with 19 assists and dug up nine balls on defense. 

Time Change

The Jayhawks' match with Border Showdown rival Missouri origanally scheduled for 7 p.m. on Nov. 3 has been bumped up to a 3 p.m. start.

Dig For the Cure

Kansas will hold its second annual Dig For the Cure on Nov. 3 when the Jayhawks host Oklahoma.  Fans, players and coaches are encouraged to make a pledge per dig.  All money raised from the event will go to the Susan G. Player Notables:

• Freshman Karina Garlington dug up a career-high 13 balls against Nebraska Saturday night.

• Junior Natalie Uhart has led the team in attack percentage in four of the team's last five matches.  The middle blocker is averaging a team-best .281 hitting acuracy for the season.

Team Notables:
• KU's 30-25 and 30-26 losses in games two and three to Nebraska Saturday evening was the first time all year that an opponent scored 25 or more points in consecutive games on the Huskers' home court.

• KU ranks 27th in the country with an average of 1,170 fans per match.  The Horejsi Family Athletics Center, which seats 1,300, has had 6,698 patrons filled its stands since the start of conference season.

• KU is ranked fourth in the league with 1.46 services aces a game in conference play led by freshman Karina Garlington, who has served up 11 aces.
