For the third consecutive year, KU's volleyball team lined up for the NCAA tournament.

 Members of the UCLA men's volleyball team took the usual Wizard of Oz theme to extremes.

 Caitlin Mahoney made her first career start in the opening round match.
Emily Brown raced back to dig out a Bruin shot.

 Paula Caten led the Jayhawks with 12 kills.

 Playing in Pauley Pavilion, KU battled UCLA through four games.
Josi Lima went up for a block in her final match for KU.

 The Jayhawks celebrated the second game victory.

 Savannah Noyes blasted one of her 10 kills.
Assistants Jill Jones-Stuckey and Christi Posey flanked coach Ray Bechard.

 Emily Brown strained to stop a UCLA shot.

 Caitlin Mahoney fired a shot past the UCLA defense.
