In a tightly contested series, Kansas fell 4-2 to Kansas State on Sunday afternoon in the rubber match at Tointon Family Stadium. Kansas had a 2-0 lead after four innings, but the Wildcats scored one run in the fifth, one run in the sixth and two in the seventh to pull ahead and win the game.

Kansas recorded its first shutout of the season as the Jayhawks beat Kansas State 4-0 on Saturday at Tointon Family Field in Manahttan. Kansas starter Dominic Voegele threw six dominant innings, while Cooper Moore, Tegan Cain and Hunter Cranton each threw a scoreless inning of relief.

Kansas’ sold out senior day was upended in a 3-0 loss to BYU on Saturday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark in the 2024 regular-season finale. 

For the third time in the past four seasons, Kansas Rowing topped Kansas State to claim the Dillons Sunflower Showdown trophy as the Jayhawks outpaced the Wildcats 17-5 on Saturday morning at Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, Kansas.

Kansas State scored two runs in the eighth inning to push the Wildcats past Kansas, 3-2 on Friday night at Tointon Family Stadium. Kansas loaded the bases in the ninth inning but was unable to score.

Kansas dropped Friday night’s game to the BYU Cougars, 12-2 at Arrocha Ballpark in five innings in front of a sold out crowd.

Kansas sophomore Heike Janse van Vuuren was selected by her home country of South Africa to compete in the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup.

Kansas fell to BYU 8-6 in a back-and-forth affair Thursday night at Arrocha Ballpark in the first game of a three-game series.
