Kansas soccer had three players selected to the All-Midwest Region teams, United Soccer Coaches announced on Tuesday. Junior Caroline Castans and senior Lexi Watts received second team honors, while redshirt sophomore Sophie Dawe received fourth team honors.
Fresh off a trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history, Kansas has added 10 commitments to the 2026 signing class.
Kansas soccer had six student-athletes selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday. The winners included defender Caroline Castans, midfielder Jillian Gregorski, midfielder Kate Langfelder, midfielder Livvy Moore, forward Lexi Watts and forward Saige Wimes.
No. 3-seeded Kansas will play in its third Sweet 16 match in program history on Sunday afternoon against the host and No. 2-seeded Duke at Koskinen Stadium. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN+. Kansas will be seeking its first trip to the Elite Eight in school history.
