Jayhawks Face K-State in Regular Season Finale

The Jayhawks will face in-state rival Kansas State in a three-game series this weekend, which opens in Lawrence on Friday evening. The Jayhawks and Wildcats will tangle at 6 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark Friday, before shifting the series to Tointon Stadium in Manhattan for Saturday (6:30 p.m.) and Sunday's (2 p.m.) games. The final series of the regular season looms large for both squads. KU can clinch a spot in the Big 12 Championship with a series win over the Wildcats. (more)
2008 Kansas Volleyball Schedule Released

University of Kansas head volleyball coach Ray Bechard announced Thursday another challenging schedule for the Jayhawks in 2008. KU will open the 2008 season in Richmond, Va., for the Virginia Commonwealth Tournament, Aug. 29-30, and play a total of nine non-conference contests before Big 12 play begins Sept. 17 at Colorado. Jayhawks Head to Tennessee for South-Central Regionals

Kansas will return to Melton Hill Lake for the South-Central Regional Regatta in Oak-Ridge, Tenn., May 17-18. The two-day regatta is the qualifier for the NCAA Championships held two weeks later in Sacramento, Calif. KU will be competing in five events, beginning with the Open Four preliminary heats on Saturday morning at 9:20 a.m. (more)
