Kansas track and field was represented by sophomore Bryce Barkdull and junior Mason Meinershagen on the Big 12 Conference's first Athletes of the Week list of the outdoor season, the conference office announced Wednesday.
LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Track & Field team opened its outdoor season Saturday at Rock Chalk Park with the Jayhawk Spring Fling in Lawrence. The Jayhawks won nine events, with 25 top three finishes and 18 personal bests on their way to finishing first on the women's side with 127 points and second on the men's side with 89 points.
