Kansas freshman Ella Boyer was named a First Team Freshman All-American by D1 Softball, the organization announced on Thursday. Boyer has now been named a Freshman All-American by D1 Softball and Softball America.
Kansas freshman Ella Boyer was named a Third Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), the organization announced on Wednesday. Boyer becomes Kansas' 14th All-America honoree all-time and first since 2020.
The Kansas softball season came to a close Saturday night in the Norman Regional of the NCAA Tournament with the Jayhawks dropping a 9-0 game to Oklahoma in the afternoon and then a 12-10 thriller to Michigan at Love's Field in an elimination game in the evening.
