LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas track and field was represented by senior Anthony Meacham as the Big 12 Conference's sixth men's Athletes of the Week of the outdoor season, the conference office announced Wednesday.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -Kansas track and field traveled to Arkansas and Oklahoma this weekend to compete in the John McDonnell Invitational and OU O'Ring Open. Anthony Meacham set a new outdoor school record in the men's pole vault, while the team won seven events, and set 18 personal bests.
LAWRENCE, Kan. -The Kansas Track and Field team is scheduled to compete in Fayetteville, Ark., at the John McDonnell Invitational on Friday, April 24th. A small group of throwers will also compete both Friday and Saturday, April 25th, at the OU Alumni O'Ring Open.
BOSTON, Mass. – Kansas alum Sharon Lokedi won the 2026 Boston Marathon in 2:18.51, marking back to back victories in the event on Monday morning and securing her third World Marathon major victory.
AZUSA, Calif. - Kansas track and field traveled to California to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational this weekend. The weekend was highlighted by Emmah Jemutai and Mason Meinershagen, who broke their own school records, while the team won six events, and set 16 personal bests.
