The Big 12 Conference announced the 2025-26 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team on Tuesday, with a combined 776 student-athletes earning the honor. Kansas athletic programs had 62 student-athletes recognized with a spot on the team.
The Big 12 Conference announced the 2026 Spring Academic All-Big 12 teams on Tuesday as a total of 1,551 student-athletes across the conference were recognized, including 128 Jayhawks receiving the honor, the most among the conference.
Kansas tennis was represented by a trio of Jayhawks - Kyoka Kubo, Meg McCarty and Anna Putilina - on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Kansas women's tennis battled in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against No. 6-seed Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon, but ultimately fell 4-0 at the Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman, Oklahoma.
