Allen Fieldhouse doors open at 6:30 a.m., on Jan. 30 for ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm will return to Allen Fieldhouse for the seventh time, in advance of next week’s Big 12/SEC Challenge Presented by Sonic between the two winningest programs in college basketball history – Kansas and Kentucky on Saturday, Jan. 30.

The Saturday Primetime presented by DIRECTV matchup will air at 6 p.m. (Central) from Lawrence, with the morning show beginning at 10 a.m., and the evening edition beginning at 3 p.m. – all on ESPN.

Doors to Allen Fieldhouse will open at 6:30 a.m., for fans wishing to attend the morning show. The event is free to the public and tickets are not required. Allen Fieldhouse concessions will be open and interpreter services will be provided.

Fans are encouraged to bring creative signs to Allen Fieldhouse for the morning show.

ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Shannon Spake will have the call of the Kansas-Kentucky game.

GameDay will originate from Lawrence for the seventh time, including part of a split show in February of last year. The weekly-traveling telecast also visited Lawrence in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2013. Next Saturday marks the 12th time the Jayhawks will be featured on GameDay, with appearances as the road team in 2006, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2015.

For the second straight season, the College GameDay site is announced one-week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.

Attendees of the Kansas-Kentucky game will be provided complimentary extra-large crimson, blue, or white T-shirt upon arrival to their seats, limit one per person. The T-shirt giveaway was made possible by Kansas Athletics and adidas.
 
An ultra-high-resolution 360-degree photo will be taken immediately following the alma mater and the Rock Chalk Chant. The image will be over 26 billion pixels in size. Fans will need to make sure they dressed in their designated colors and in their seats pregame to ensure that they are in the photograph.
