Junior Season (2011-12): Started 38 of 39 games… Averaged 30.9 minutes, 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Jayhawks… Ranked third on the team in rebounds… One of four Jayhawks to average at least 30 minutes per game… Scored a career-high 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field at Oklahoma (1/7), just one game after recording his first career double-double versus Kansas State (1/4) with 16 points and 11 rebounds… Named Big 12 Player of the Week after his stellar efforts against Kansas State and Oklahoma… Recorded a career-high four steals versus Davidson (12/19)… Played a career-high 40 minutes at Iowa State (1/28)… Scored in double-figures 17 times during the 2011-12 season… He recorded multiple assists in 22 contests and at least five rebounds in 17 contests… Joined Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor as the only Jayhawks to score in every game this season.

Sophomore Season (2010-11):Played in 30 games for the Jayhawks, starting four… Scored 3.7 points and brought down 1.4 rebounds per game… Played an average of 10 minutes per game… Selected as a finalist for the 2011 Dunk of the Year for his windmill dunk against UMKC (1/5)… A member of the iBN Las Vegas Invitational All-Tournament Team after scoring 23 points off of 9-for-15 shooting, grabbing seven rebounds, and hitting five three-pointers in the two games of the invitational… Injured ankle in a win at Michigan (1/9), forcing him to sit out multiple games due to injury… Before ankle injury, was averaging 15.6 minutes and 6.1 points in Kansas[apos] first 14 games… Scored a career-high 13 points twice on the season, the first coming on 5-of-8 shooting against Ohio (11/26) and the second coming against UMKC (1/5) on 4-of-7 shooting.

Freshman Season (2008-09):Appeared in all but three games during the season… Shot 56.9 percent from the field, including 75 percent (12-for-16) in his last 13 games played… Played 10-plus minutes in eight games, including three Big 12 contests… Scored a career-high nine points in eight minutes at Missouri (2/9)… Had five points in seven minutes against Oklahoma State (2/7)… Scored five points in six minutes at Nebraska (1/28)… Played a career-high 21 minutes at Michigan State (1/10)… Grabbed a career-high four rebounds and dished out a career-best two assists against Albany (12/30)… Had eight points against Florida Gulf Coast (11/18) and matched that versus Coppin State (11/28).

International Competition:In summer 2008 was a starter who averaged 21 minutes, 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds for the USA Basketball Men[apos]s U18 National Team which won silver at the 2008 FIBA Americas U18 Championship in Formosa, Argentina… Lost to host Argentina in the finals… Tied for second on the team with eight steals in five games… In May 2008, played on a high school all-star team sponsored by adidas in Shanghai, China… Member of the 2007 USA Basketball Men[apos]s Youth Development Festival White Team which won bronze… Averaged 14.2 points and five rebounds in festival play.

High School:Averaged 24.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in his senior season at Bishop Miege… A two-time high school All-American… Averaged 19.6 points and 6.7 rebounds his junior season in leading Miege to a 19-6 record… 2008 Eastern Kansas League (EKL) and Gatorade Player of the Year in guiding Bishop Miege to a 19-3 record… 2007 EKL Player of the Year… 2007 DiRenna Award finalist which honors the best male and female basketball player each year in the Greater Kansas City Area… 2005 conference player of the year at Central High School…

Off The Court:Born in Kansas City, Mo… Major is African and African American studies… Mother is Venita Vann… Is second-oldest child in a family of four boys and two girls… Would like to become a college coach someday.
