High School: Played both quarterback and safety at Woodrow Wilson HS… Threw for 1,843 yards and 18 TDs, while also rushing for 788 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior… Passed for 1,382 yards and 18 touchdowns, while also rushing for 497 yards and four TDs as a junior… Named district Offensive MVP in 2011… Earned honorable mention all-state honors from the Texas Sports Writers Assocation in 2011… Played for head coach Bobby Estes at Woodrow Wilson HS… A teammate of KU freshman, Colin Spencer, at Woodrow Wilson HS… Also earned one letter in baseball… Earned second team all-district honors playing centerfield… A member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Sherry Christian… Future plans include attending medical school… Cousin, New York Yankee Mickey Mantle, is one of baseball’s all-time greatest players.
