2016-17 (Senior)
Named to the Fall Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Recipient of the 2017 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the Big 12’s highest academic honor … Recorded three top-16 finishes at the Big 12 Championship (2/22-25), including 11th in the 100-yard backstroke (2:02.72), 16th in the 200-yard backstroke (55.48) and 13th in the 100-yard butterfly (55.76) … Swam a lifetime-best 55.05 in the 100-yard butterfly in prelims of the conference meet.

2015-16 (Junior)
Named to the Athletic Director’s & Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls (Fall)… Academic All-Big 12 First Team (Fall)… Recorded a top-eight finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a season-best swim of 55.90 at Big 12s… Earned an additional three season-best times at the league meet in the 50-yard freestyle (24.23), the 100-yard backstroke (55.63) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.03)… Finished in the top-15 at conference in the 100 back and 200 back… Registered nine top-five individual finishes throughout the course of the season… Won the 100 back against Denver/Missouri State (10/23-24) with a mark of 56.85.

2014-15 (Sophomore)
Named to the AD and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (Fall 2014 and Spring 2015)… Academic All-Big 12 First Team (Fall 2014)… Recorded the fifth-fastest all-time program time in the 100-yard backstroke (55.34) and placed fourth overall at the 2015 Big 12 Championships (2/25-28)… Recorded three top-12 performances at the league meet… Placed seventh overall in the 100-yard butterfly at the conference meet with a time of 55.66… Recorded a season-best time of 2:00.90 to place 11th at the Big 12 Championship meet… Broke the Mabee Center pool record in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:05.73… Placed in the top-six in every 100-yard backstroke race this season.
 
2013-14 (Freshman)
Closed out the season by recording the second-fastest 2013-14 team time in the 100-yard backstroke (55.47) at the 2014 Big 12 Championships (2/26-3/1)… Placed in the top-10 in the 200-yard backstroke at the conference championships with a time of 2:00.07… Recorded her season and personal-best time in the 50-yard freestyle (25.01) at the 2013 Kansas Classic (11/22-24)… A member of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team against William Jewell (12/7).

High School
Two-time letterwinner at Blue Valley Southwest… Holds five school records… All-American in the 100-yard backstroke… State champion in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly… Team won 1-5A state meet in 2013… Swam for the Kansas City Blazers Club Swim Team for coach Gardner Howland… An Academic All-American and was on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Born Hannah Angell in Minneapolis, Minnesota… Daughter of Heather and Tom Angell… Exercise science major and plans to go to Physicians Assistant School upon graduation.
