2016-17 (Senior)
Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Placed 10th in the 100-yard butterfly (55.33) at the Big 12 Championship (2/22-25) … Member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (1:36.63) team in the double-dual against North Dakota and Missouri State (10/21-22) … Helped set a new 200-meter short course freestyle relay Mabee Center record (1:46.14) at William Jewell (1/19), shattering the previous record by 5.5 seconds.
2015-16 (Junior)
Fall Athletic Director’s & Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Academic All-Big 12 First Team… Placed in the top-15 in all three individual events competed in at Big 12s, finishing 11th in the 100-yard freestyle (51.46) and the 100-yard butterfly (55.71), and 15th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.58)… Her 11th-place finish in the 100 freestyle at the league meet marked a career-best time… Placed third in the 50 free at TCU with a swim of 24.28 and in the 100 fly at Iowa State (58.74)… Turned in a dozen top-five times during the 2015-16 season… Assisted in a pair of victories in the 400-yard freestyle relay against Nebraska and William Jewell.
2015 Fall (Junior)
Tallied a career-best performance in the 100-yard freestyle at the Big Challenge with a time of 52.23… Registered five top-five finishes throughout the fall season, placing third in the 50-yard free style at TCU (24.28) and in the 200-yard butterfly against William Jewell (2:10.60).
2014-15 (Sophomore)
Named to the AD and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (Fall 2014 and Spring 2015)… Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team (Fall 2014)… Finished in the top-16 in three events at the 2015 Big 12 Championships: 11th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.53), 15th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.91) and third as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:32.21)… Held the fastest 2014-15 team time in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.53 set at the Big 12 Championships (2/25-28).
2013-14 (Freshman)
Won the 100-yard butterfly (58.39) at the first meet of the season against Air Force (10/12)… Picked up a third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (57.87) at TCU (10/17)… Placed second in the same event against UNO and UND (11/2) with a time of 59.63… Also finished second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:12.04) at the same meet… The winner of the 100-yard butterfly (58.20) against William Jewell (12/7)… Took home a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.38) against Iowa State (2/7-8)… Swam in the championship final of the 100-yard butterfly (55.91) at the 2014 Big 12 Championships (2/26-3/1)… Earned a spot in the consolation final of the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.89) with an 11th-place finish at the conference championships.
High School
Lettered four years in swimming at Kingwood High School for coach Russel Duin… Team won state championship 2010 and 2011… Holds school records for 100-yard butterfly, 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay… All-American and all-state 2010-13… Voted Swimmer of the Year and Team MVP 2013… Competed for Blue Tide Aquatic Club.

Born Leah Michelle Pfitzer in Kingwood, Texas… Parents are Tim and Jan Pfitzer… Father ran track at Princeton… Plans to become an occupational therapist after graduation.
