Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Nominated for the prestigious Udall Scholarship, which is for students who demonstrate leadership, public service and commitment in the field of tribal public policy, Native American health care or the environment … Swam a collegiate-best 24.62 in the 50-yard freestyle at the Big 12 Championship (2/22-25) … Recorded a lifetime best in the 200-meter short course freestyle (2:14.32) to finish third and another lifetime best in an exhibition swim of the 100-meter short course butterfly (1:07.12) at William Jewell (1/19).
2015-16 (Freshman)
Named to the Fall Athletic Director’s & Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls… Carved three career-best times at the conference meet, competing in the 50-yard freestyle (24.67), the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.67) and the 100-yard butterfly (56.42)… Won the 200 free against William Jewell with a time of 1:56.24… Registered a season-best swim in the 200-yard butterfly at the Big Challenge with a time of 2:04.60… Placed second in the 100 fly in a quad dual against William Jewell, Tabor and Morningside… A consistent scorer for the Jayhawks, recording nine top-six finishes this season. .
